#MaverickMonday Hedgehugs: Horace and Hattiepillar by Lucy Tapper and Steve Wilson

Yes, you read right! #MaverickMondays are back!

Today’s review is Hedgehugs by Lucy Tapper and Steve Wilson. The lovely folks at Maverick Arts Publishing must have read our minds because this is one of the books we were going to buy for Beebop’s birthday. Due to everyone falling ill, we didn’t make it to the shops to buy a copy so we were very grateful when we received our parcel from Maverick!

Horace and Hattie are best friends who get up to all sorts of adventures. One day, they find a new friend hiding under a leaf. Who and what could it be?!

The second book of the Hedgehug series is a lovely tale of dreaming big and having adventures with your best friend. It’s also a great way to introduce children to the caterpillar to butterfly life cycle. There is a very lovely surprise at the end too!
